The Palliative Care Centre for Excellence in Research and Education (PalC) was set up as a tripartite collaboration by Dover Park Hospice, Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine and National Healthcare Group (NHG) in October 2017. Its mission is Mission to commit to advancing evidence-based palliative care research and the development of education programmes for stakeholders in healthcare to better serve patients and their caregivers. PalC is also committed to developing and providing quality, evidence-based training and education programmes to build and nurture capabilities, capacities and connectedness in healthcare professionals and volunteers, so they may competently support patients to live comfortable, productive and dignified lives.Region
