Association of Hospice and Palliative Care Providers (APHPP)
Description
Association of Hospice Palliative Care Providers promotes and supports hospice and palliative care, which is based on respect for human beings as unique unique beings it contributes to a positive transformation of the Czech society's relationship to death and dying. It represents hundreds of professionals in hospice palliative care, many of whom are active in the education of the lay and professional public, including teaching at universities. In cooperation with the Ministry of Health, APHPP participated in the creation of the first Czech Hospice Palliative Quality Standards that its members voluntarily adhere to. APHPP was established in 2005 and until 2007 it has enforced the legalization of inpatient and mobile hospice care . He is a member of the European Palliative Care Association. APHPP organizes an annual professional conference , and since April 2010 has published its own newsletter Balance .Region
