Description
The Section of Palliative Care and Hospice is under the Department of Family and Community Medicine of St. Paul's Hospital Iloilo. Established in 2009, it serves to teach Family and Community Medicine resident physicians the rudiments of palliative care provision and hospice. It takes care of patients referred in the hospital, out-patients, and patients for home care within 5 kilometers radius from the hospital. The section envisions itself to be a leading provider of quality palliative care and hospice in the Western Visayas Region.Region
