The Institute for Nursing Science and Practice at the Paracelsus Medical University in Salzburg, Austria, was designated as the WHO Collaborating Centre for nursing research and education with special focus on palliative care in 2016. The WHO CC has agreed to work with WHO to empower and support the health workforce in palliative care education and provide evidence on nurse-led practice and regulation.Region
