This program is designed to provide financial and technical support to organizations and institutions in developing countries which are implementing strategies to improve and advance hospice and palliative care. These include strategies to improve access to care and medicines.
This is an ongoing program and applications are accepted throughout the year.
Institutions from all countries are welcome. In order to apply institutions must meet the following criteria:
- The institution must be located and/or the project must be implemented in a Low or Middle income (LMIC) country
- The institution and/or the project must be dedicated to palliative care.
- The institution has not received grants from IAHPC in the past 3 years
- The institution must be a current Institutional IAHPC member. Institutional applications are available in our website.
Preference will be given to applications which describe long term goals and lead to improvements in any or all the following areas: service provision, education, availability and access to medicines, and public policy.
To apply, please request an application by sending a message to Ms. Genevieve Napier, Manager Programs and Projects.
